12 Mile Creek Lower Canyon – Mt Crichton Scenic Reserve. Queenstown
Canyoning. (4 hours).
I did a famil trip on the Queenstown Canyon trip with Queenstown Canyoning at 12 Mile Creek. After getting kitted out at the Canyoning base, we walked from the 12 Mile Campsite to the edge of the Canyon and got lowered in. Then we slid backwards over a drop, slid down a waterfall, ziplined back to the waterfall pool and abseiled down into it, then swum across the pool and dove through the bottom of the waterfall. We then travelled further down the canyon, and then got lowered into a pool through which we swum back to the track and walked back to the 12 Mile Campsite.
